The National Trauma Campaign with SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and the US Department of Health and Human Services interviewed Patrick on Monday, September 27, 2011, as a survivor from severe trauma in a production studio in Washington, DC. He was honored to be working in conjunction as one of the trauma survivors to share his story as part of the 2012 campaign on trauma survivors and reveal how he is staying well. This interview will be used throughout 2012 on their website and in classroom settings to educate individuals on how you can be a survivor.
